Annoying Homeschool Questions

*watch in high quality…..or not*
These are the usual questions people bombard me with when I tell them that I’m homeschooled.
1. Do you have any friends?
2. How do you meet people?
3 Are you socially challenged?
4. Do you get to eat whenever and wherever you want?
5. Do you get to sleep late?
6. Do you do school in your pajamas?
7. Do you have homework, grades, and tests?
8. Do you have prom?
9. How do you graduate?
10. Do you get to go to college?
11. Who teaches you?

    You make yourself …
You make yourself look ignorant when you use hasty generalizations as your ENTIRE argument.
Besides, I’d rather be socially retarded than mentally retarded. But oh guess what? I’m not socially retarded.
    Dumbass.

    OMG I hate these …
OMG I hate these questions, it’s funny though because there are like 25 homeschooling families where I live and I meet a ton of people. That question bothers me the most.

    You still have to …
You still have to get credits to graduate. If a ten year old who is high school level that just means they are smart beyond their age level. I suppose if you did extra school every year and you could understand it regardless of your age then you could graduate pretty fricken early. Oh wait! Not if you’re public schooled/private schooled!

    Haha. I know what …
Haha. I know what you mean about the questions, except I was mortified when people asked about my schooling because, my perents didn’t do it! Every few Years, my mother would start and stop after a few Days, and we weren’t supposed to tell anybody… Though they suspected. It took me two years to catch up, and get my GED. Home schooling, is not for everybody. It can be a good thing though, when you actually DO it.

    can homeschoolers …
can homeschoolers graduate highschool early like at age 15? I always hear how some 10 year olds are at a high school level…so does that mean a homeschooler can write their SAT at 10? i dont get it haha

Also I think homeschoolers do miss out on meeting alot of people..In my highschool there were thousands of people so you meet way more people. Also I dont get how homeschoolers can go from being at home all day not interacting to a huge college surrounded by so many ppl

    THANK YOU. People …
THANK YOU. People can be weird about homeschoolers, like we (former homeschooler here, I graduated) are disabled or something. The hell?

I guess the most annoying questions I get are the aforementioned questions, 2 (yes and no. Yes in highschool, no in gradeschool,) 3, (no, but I’m paranoid of being so because they TREAT ME LIKE I AM,) and “Sorry to ask, but why were you homeschooled?”

Why do they always have to apologise like I’m going to be offended. It’s not a bad question in itself.
