    I’m a conservative …
    I’m a conservative that supports homeschooling parents, but if you teach your kids the pseudoscience of creationism and not the FACT of evolution, you’re doing them a disservice. Just my $0.02.

    this seems REALLY …
    this seems REALLY creepy. I mean if you spend all your time around family, how are you going to develop basic social skills like meeting new people and making friends?

    This made my day!

    This made my day!

    I’ve gone to public, private, and home. I love homeschooling.

    It allowed me to develop my personal areas of expertise and didn’t squeeze me into someone else’s mold.

    i don’t care if ur …
    i don’t care if ur twelve or forty years old! the only reason u say i’m “picking” on u is because u are dissing homeschoolers and giving out a mean opinion, but u don’t want others to respond to ur disrespectful words! if u can’t take the heat, don’t bring the heat. and who cares if they can’t get on the computer! kids don’t need to be on the computer! that’s one of the reasons our entire society today has become anti-social all around.

    I knew a kid who …
    I knew a kid who was public schooled was 13 and couldnt invite any one to his party!! i say your homeschooled friend i better off ! plus unlike public school home schoolers can: get ahead as far as they want in school, take days off and catch back up in school faster, and they dont have to put up with jerks(like you) ;-)

    it’s not a good …
    it’s not a good opinion if it’s a rude and offensive opinion. i wouldn’t have minded if u said that u didn’t believe it was the right thing to do and u prefer the public education system. i would have respected that. but u dissed all homeschoolers, saying we are a stereotype and that we are freaks. so if ur opinion is mean and u can’t say it in a nice way, please don’t say it at all.

    i = I.
    From the church*.
    i’m = I’m.
    Errorin = error in.
    ur = your.
    u = you.

    I’m Dutch by the way and not home-schooled.

    doogansx5, I …
    doogansx5, I believe you are a fine example of how the public school system CAN work for dyslexic mentally retarded individuals. Keep up the good work champ!

    It makes me sad to …
    It makes me sad to think that you are so inept that you had to depend on the public school system to make your friends for you. My husband and I were both home schooled, I have a Bachelors Degree in Music and my husband is made of pure charisma and makes more friends in 5 seconds than you will make in your life time.

    I completely …
    I completely disagree with this statement. I don’t believe in a god because I’ve found no evidence that a god exists outside our psyche. Read Joseph Campell. I didn’t ‘force’ it into my mind that science is the best answer, but felt I had to shut my mind off to ‘believe’ in a god. If I chose to go to church it would not change a single thing about my life other than what I do on Sunday mornings. True liberty is freedom of thought and the ability to doubt.
